History and Objectives of the Conference
Quantitative Infrared Thermography (QIRT) conference is a biannual international conference, in which Infrared Thermography (IRT) specialists from industry and academia discuss and present their current interests and novel developments.
Since 1992, QIRT conferences have been held in Paris (1992), Sorrento (1994), Stuttgart (1996), Lodz (1998), Reims (2000), Dubrovnik (2002), Brussels (2004), Padova (2006), Krakow (2008), Québec City (2010), Naples (2012), Bordeaux (2014), Gdansk (2016), Berlin (2018), Porto (2020), Paris (2022), Zagreb (2024), and Naples (2026).
Since 2015, due to the growing QIRT community, a sister conference series, **QIRT-Asia**, was established.
The 6th Asian Quantitative Infrared Thermography Conference (**QIRT Asia 2027**) will be held in **Singapore**, continuing this tradition of scientific excellence in the region.
The conference covers a wide range of topics related to infrared thermography, including but not limited to:
State-of-the-art IR camera technology, calibration, characterization, and real-time image processing.
Active and passive thermography fordefect detection, material characterization, and structural health monitoring.
Medical diagnostics, physiological monitoring, and veterinary applications of thermal imaging.
Building diagnostics, energy audits, process monitoring, and maintenance.
